Tribute Tough as Nails Hoof Supplement

While all Tribute® Equine Nutrition feeds are fortified with nutrients to support hoof quality, some horses need additional support. For them, we proudly offer Tough As Nails®, a pelleted supplement designed to provide nutrients beneficial to strong and healthy hoof growth. Adding this supplement to your horse’s diet will bring in a boost of biotin, which has been shown through research to improve hoof quality. Tough As Nails® also increases your horse’s intake of sulfur containing amino acids to help improve hoof growth and provides them with additional calcium, which is involved in the cross-linking of hoof proteins. Added organic trace minerals are used for their increased bioavailability over inorganic sources and compared to similar products, Tough As Nails® supplies a higher concentration of iodine, which can act as an anti-fungal agent, and we find this is especially helpful for horses with White Line Disease or persistent Thrush.
